Şule Şengül Ören completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Özyeğin University. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in various researches both in Turkey and in Europe. In 2017, she co-authored an article in Gender Roles and Autonomy at Cardiff University, UK, as part of her Erasmus+ internship. This article was published in the Journal of Health Psychology. She completed her Master's degree at the University of Bergamo in Italy, in the program "Clinical Psychology for Individuals, Families and Organizations". She wrote her master's thesis on the Quarter-Life Crisis of young adults and the emotional effects of living with family during the pandemic. She worked as a Clinical Psychology Intern in the organization named 'Opera San Francesco per i Poveri' (OSF) in Milan. She provided individual therapy both in Turkish and in English. Şule Şengül actively works with couples and adult individuals in the method of Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). She works as an online psychologist.
It is rare to find an english psychologist in istanbul, foreigners can benefit an English speaking therapist while managing their difficult emotions.
